The Open House event is open to the public from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. During the event, visitors can tour the home to get customization ideas and find out more about the process of building a custom home.
The Open House event will feature the builder?s popular Winchester floor plan, a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home that includes more than 3,100 square feet of living space. The home features a family-style exterior elevation with customized craftsman architectural details, including a wrap around porch, stone veneer, shake siding and triple dormer. The home features a family-friendly basement that includes a movie room, a toy room, a home gym, a full bath and bar. According to Wayne Homes President George Murphy, the home demonstrates that almost anything is possible when building a custom home.
?For this home, the family wanted an open walk-out basement with lots of flexible space for family entertainment. To accommodate this, our construction team used a steel beam in the basement to open up the space. For many families, particularly those that are building a custom home for the first time, they may not even be aware that custom changes like this are possible. Additional customizations to the home include an enhanced first floor Master Suite, extended ceilings throughout the main living areas, classic crown molding, and angled three-car garage with attached mudroom for added convenience.
